This is quite cliche, but I really can't believe we've already had Smash for a month.
A few things about Asher at one month:
He is starting to be awake more often and for longer amounts of time, which is kind of exciting.
Recently, he decided that sleeping anywhere other than in someone's arms at naptime. overrated. I'm hoping it's just the combination of having a cold and not being in his own bed (we've been at my parents' house for a few days) that has created this fiasco and that once we return home, things will go back to normal. At least he still sleeps in his bed at night, though!
He generally has a really concerned look on his face, like he's really worried about something--and it looks pretty funny. But he smiles as he falls asleep, which is ridiculously cute.
Asher has basically outgrown newborn clothes (he's too long) and is starting to fill out his 0-3 month clothes.
This is the only tongue trick he has yet displayed. I'm thinking Reed may need to start dishing out lessons.
Smash eats every 2-3 hours, which means we are up 3-4 times in the night. Sweet.
He is starting to "coo" and make a few noises other than swallowing (which he does quite loudly) or crying.
There's a smile. Excited to be one month old, perhaps?
He is apathetic toward tummy time. Sometimes, he will stay on his tummy forever without complaining. Sometimes, he gives a little fuss after only a minute or two.
He sleeps with one arm wiggled out of his wrap. He doesn't have a preference which arm is out, so long as one of them makes it out. But if he gets two out, he wakes up. Odd.
