Playing Vegas

Sometimes, I forget that we live where we live. Honestly, our neighborhood feels a lot like our old neighborhood in St. George--so it's easy to forget that we are only 15 minutes away from well, craziness.

Occasionally, though, we decide to venture downtown. We usually aim for early Saturday mornings because not a lot of people are up early after a night of partying! On this particular day, we wanted to check out the gardens at the Bellagio because we'd heard they had been "Christmas-ed."

They had.

And it was awesome. We walked through a giant "snow globe" to get into the gardens, then admired the bears and reindeer made out of flowers, the giants chocolate gingerbread house, and the humongous tree. We made it outside just in time to see the fountain show. Last time we saw the fountains, Asher didn't really care. At all. This time? He was mesmerized. Every time the fountains shot super high, the boys would yell, "WOW! DID YOU SEE THAT?!" It was so much fun.

Trying to take a picture with the crazies.
